Maxwell Drummond’s Renewable Energy Practice builds global executive and technical leadership teams for companies operating across the renewable energy, clean technology and sustainable development industries. We work with a variety of clients including renewable technology developers, consultancies, service providers, private equity / venture capital funds and investment banks looking to strengthen their own or their portfolio companies’ team. Key areas of expertise are wind (onshore and offshore), marine (wave and tidal), bio-energy, solar (CPV and thermal), waste-to-energy, smart-grid technologies and new and emerging energy technologies.

Maxwell Drummond’s Commodity Capital Markets & Investment Banking Practice works globally to secure trading, structuring, sales and origination talent within agriculture and soft commodities, coal and freight, commodity investor products, environmental products, power and gas, metals and mining and oil and gas products. Our investment banking coverage allows us to source specialist commodity professionals into the following service groups: mergers and acquisitions, acquisition and divestment, industry coverage corporate finance, structured finance, restructuring and research.

Take Brief

We spend time with our client to ensure we fully understand the company and the position; we use that understanding to create a detailed brief of the role, company culture, and required skills and experience.

Internal Execution

We assign an appropriate consultant and team of first class researchers from our international team. We draw up a detailed execution plan to serve as a guideline for our search process and to help determine key competitors and potential targets.

Conduct Targeted Research/MDI Interviews

Through our rigorous research we extensively cover the market and identify the individuals best-suited to our client’s needs and culture. Once they are engaged in our process Maxwell Drummond will interview the best candidates and draw up a shortlist of recommended individuals.

Shortlist Submission

We present a progress report and detailed interview reports for shortlisted candidates, these clearly set out their skill set, key experiences, motivations, work status, salary expectations and mobility – all in direct relation to the position.

Client Interview

We work with you to arrange candidate interviews and continue consulting throughout the selection process.

Offer Stage and Close Out

When you decide to make an offer, we help thoroughly with the detail of contract negotiations to both parties’ satisfaction. After the candidate accepts your offer, we stay involved, helping them to resign their current position and on-board with you, delivering a smooth and pleasant transition for all.
